Put the crypto prices on your wall

This board is made to hang on a wall. HAkiosk shows one web page full screen on an Android tablet, iPad or iPhone and keeps it there, so a spare tablet ticks along with every trade, all day.

  1. 01

    Install HAkiosk

From Google Play on an Android tablet, or from the App Store on an iPad or iPhone.

  2. 02

    Give it this page

Enter the dashboard’s address as the page to show. Add kiosk=1 for the dashboard alone: https://www.hakiosk.com/dashboard/crypto?kiosk=1

  3. 03

Or add it to Home Assistant

Already showing a Home Assistant dashboard on the tablet? Add the same address in a Webpage card and the prices sit beside your lights and heating.

Questions

Where do the live crypto prices come from?

From every trade on Binance, through its public market data stream, so a price changes the moment a trade goes through and the digits that moved flash green or red. Market cap, rank and the change over 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days come from CoinMarketCap every few minutes, and the 7-day line and the day’s high and low from Binance. A coin Binance does not trade shows CoinMarketCap’s price, updated every few minutes.

What is the monkey doing?

He pumps the coin that is rising fastest right now: over the last 15 minutes of live trades, or over the last hour until the page has been open that long. He hops over to that coin’s row, connects his hose to its price, and every stroke of the pump is a real price tick up on it. He jumps when a buy of over $100,000 goes through or a new Bitcoin block is found, and he sits down when every coin on the board is falling. He is there for fun, not for advice.

Can I choose the coins and the currency?

Yes. Edit coins adds any of the 250 biggest coins, removes them and puts them in your order, and the buttons at the top switch between dollars and euros. Tap a coin to show it in the big panel. For a wall screen, put the choice in the address once, for example ?coins=bitcoin,ethereum,solana&coin=ethereum&currency=eur&range=7d.

What does the Bitcoin network panel show?

Live from mempool.space: the next block filling up with the transactions waiting for it, and the latest blocks with their fee rate in satoshis per virtual byte, their age and the pool that found them. A block is found about every 10 minutes on average. The halving, when the reward for a block is cut in half, comes every 210,000 blocks, and the difficulty is adjusted every 2,016 blocks to keep that 10-minute pace.

What is the Fear & Greed index?

A daily number from 0 to 100 by alternative.me that sums up the mood of the crypto market, from extreme fear to extreme greed. It is built from price swings, trading volume, social media, Bitcoin’s share of the market and search trends.

Can I put this crypto dashboard on a wall tablet or a TV?

Yes. Install HAkiosk on an Android tablet, iPad or iPhone and give it this page’s address: it shows the dashboard full screen and keeps it there. On a TV or a laptop, press Full screen at the top, or add ?kiosk=1 to the address in any kiosk browser. The same address works in a Home Assistant dashboard’s Webpage card.
